Hua Jing: Funtainers only these 6 design pictured available for singapore market. not the rest. sorry

edde: your JLN1400P is an old model for indonesian market only. thermos has a new model coming in 2 mths to replace this. i am waiting for update. alternatively, if u need multiple compartment flask, u can consider the JLQ805 or the JBA 1800 featured.

megan said...

thanks for arranging this. =)

some questions:
(1) JLQ805 comes in which 2 colours? I might have missed it in the spreadsheet.

(2) What's the difference between JMG500 and JMG501? Is it the size?

(3) JLQ805 and JLQ1800 are the ones with the multiple containers inside?

Phew. Think that's it for now.

yes 2 colours as pictured.

(2) What's the difference between JMG500 and JMG501? Is it the size?

Difference between the two is JMG-501 IS without spoon.

(3) JLQ805 and JLQ1800 are the ones with the multiple containers inside?

Yes. you are right.

Other answers i have:
1) funtainers can keep food warm for approx 5 hours. Funtainers capacity 300ml.

2) For 500ml containers, can keep food warm for 6 hours.

thanks starfruit.

sorry ah, just wanted to verify. JMG500 and 501 both comes without spoon right? JMG502 comes with spoon (as indicated on the spreadsheet). saw that JMG500 is listed as food beverage mug while JMG501 is listed as s/s food jug but not really sure what's the difference between them cuz they look similar from the pictures.

moogen: you are right tat JMG500 - and JCG 501 both comes without spoon right. the 500 has a rubber base below so if drop less damage and impact but because of the rubber base, the 500 will be more more bulky than the JCG501.

edde: i reused the flashcard doc which is why the mistake in the final amount. I have corrected the doc liao. But now you all have to tally your own final amt hor.:)

kelley: u can see the price and capacity in the order list.

Re: Snack Jar
It is not intended to put hot stuff, it does not keep warm,..it is used maily for fruits and snacks..esp cut fruit so fruits does not turn brown so fast.

Pai seh ah...very confused here..

1.
So wat's the diff btw JCG500 & JMG 501? Cldn't find the latter from Thermos website.

2.
Wats the wt and dimensions of JLQ205 & JBA1800? Cldn't find them from thermos website too.

3.
Can advise which dept'l store carries the widest range of thermos pdts so that i can go and take a look at them (interior/wt/packaging...) before deciding?

Already answered this on the blog for moogen. The JMG500 - and JCG 501 both comes without spoon. the 500 has a rubber base below so if drop less damage and impact but because of the rubber base, the 500 will be more more bulky than the JCG501.

No wt and dimension provided. U mean the the JLQ502? this is a 0.5L capacity. The JBA 1800 is 1.8L

3. Can advise which dept'l store carries the widest range of thermos pdts so that i can go and take a look at them (interior/wt/packaging...) before deciding?

I cannot advise, i think Carol has seen some thermos somewhere..maybe she can advise? I will be meeting Thermos on Friday to look at the range given to us. Will ncomment on the blog after that.

Starfruit: Would like to ask abt the Foogo range.
B3000: What is the capacity? Is it to keep food warmer? Is there only 1 compartment?
B2000: Is this for drinking or is it to carry warm water to make milk? If the latter, don't quite understand why a straw is needed.

Thanks.. : )

Baby Girl said...

Starfruit: Also, B3000, does it come in girl colours?

moogen: JMG500 - and JCG 501 both comes without spoon right. the 501 has a rubber base below and is heavier and more bulky than the JCG501. Sorry fot the confusion earlier

Baby girl: yes the foogo food jar comes in pink (like the B2000 pictured). Two colour for this range, the blue or the pink.

My findings:
JCG 300 - 300ml
JCG 500 - 500ml
these are very good basic range. food can keep warm approx 5 hrs. these containers are not so bulky and heavy too. Def can consider. i didn't get to measure the prdts, will give approx height base on my memory later.
i have asked for a quote on the JCG400 (small look as the JCG 300/500 cos same range), its more a beverage flask/cup, abt 250mlonly i think. its slimmer and slightly taller than the 300 in design. think those mummies looking for slimer one can consider this.

JMG501/502
500ml jar with a rubber base w orw/o spoon thus more bulky and heavy. its sirprisly quite heavy when i hold it.

Foogo range: Nice nice. height of the foogo food jar abt the same as the JCG 300.

JLQ 805: 3 compartment food jar. overall size wise slightly bigger and taller than the 500 range. surprisly its not very heavy.

I have ask to include the lunch box exactly the same ones tat babygirl got (her tiger one
) Thermos also has similar ones, very nice and compart with zipped bag. one container for rice/porridge and 2 small snack boxes all in a bag. They have matching water flask which i am getting the price too.

Re: Thermos hot water flask 350ml and 500ml flask- for transporting of hot water to make bb milk. Thermos has a very nice range i have ask them to send me pricing.

JBA1800: think we can drop this item. its realy big and bulky. cos 1.8 liters and very heavy too. design also not very nice. its more suitable for adult lunches.

Starfruit said...

The foogo B2000 is not a hot water flask for transporting of hot water. it is more a water bottle. It has a built in straw feature. its more a sipping water bottle.

starfruit,
thanks for all the trouble...will wait for ya updates on the height for JCG300/500..

u are really very responsible organiser...thanks for providing such details for the thermos!

bellepepper said...

starfruit
the lunch boxes are able to keep food warm as well?

Starfruit said...

pepper: lunch boxes can only keep food warm up to abt 2 hrs only.

mash: approx measurement base on my memory only ok.. the 300 is abt 15 to 16cm in height if i can remember correctly. hope this helps.
